Springtime is a hop, skip, and jump away, and we are heralding in the season with the City's annual Easter Egg Hunt!
Fun and free for all children, come and hunt the 10,000 candy and toy filled eggs at Claude Gray Park. The hunt begins promptly at 10am and usually lasts half an hour. No cost to participate!
Bring your camera to take free photos with the Easter Bunny, the Grand Marshal of the Easter Egg Hunt!

LOCUST GROVE DAY

Downtown Locust Grove!
Locust Grove Day is the oldest of the Henry County Festivals, with its start in 1956! Originally called Fire Engine Day, the first celebration consisted of a street dance.
Join in the celebration of our town and its people with Locust Grove Day! The day starts with a parade through downtown at 10am, followed by the festival at City Hall from 10am-2pm with arts & crafts, food, live music from Trombone Love, free entertainment, and activities for the whole family. End the day at Claude Gray Park where you can dance the evening away to the classic rock music of the Mackie Creek Band's free concert and the grand finale fireworks show! FREE FAMILY FUN!

It's back! Brought to you by the Southside Sportsman Association and the City of Locust Grove, kids age up to 15 are invited to register for this FREE event. Bring your own gear and tackle, chair, and grownup. All kids are required to have an adult accompany them. Cookout to follow.

Come celebrate Halloween with our Annual Trunk or Treat at Claude Gray Park, featuring your cast of ghosts, goblins, superheroes, princesses, zombies and most importantly CANDY! Volunteers and local businesses set up their vehicle "trunks" with decorations and candy for the little ones or those young at heart. Haunted hayride through the cemetery 'til dusk. Best of all, It's FREE!

We can't wait 'til Christmas...in The Grove 2024!
This annual holiday festival kicks off with the parade down Highway 42 through historic downtown Locust Grove, followed by live music, entertainment, holiday shopping in unique downtown stores, fantastic raffles, crafts, over 60 vendors, photos with Santa, food, and specials from restaurants along Cleveland St.! We'll announce the winners of both the parade entry contest and the Christmas Tree Lane tree decorating contest from the stage at noon.
We're looking for arts & crafts sellers, upcycle-ers, and handmade goodie makers to purchase vendor booths. 10'x10' spaces are available for $30, and 10'x20' spaces are available for $50.
