Spring Yard Sale

Gather up your treasures and bring them to 99 Frances Ward Drive for Locust Grove's community yard sale. Spaces are $25 each, and first-come-first-serve. Reserve your space on-site 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday, March 31 or after 6:00 AM on the day of the event.

Easter Egg Hunt

Take your photo with the Easter Bunny and hunt for eggs in our spacious field located at 99 Frances Ward Drive. The Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 10:00 AM. Ages 2 years through 6th grade.

Miss Locust Grove Pageant

Young ladies ages birth - 21 years can compete for the crown at the Annual Miss Locust Grove Pageant. Check back for more details!

Locust Grove Day

The Locust Grove Day parade kicks off at 10:00 AM on Highway 42, followed by a craft fair, food vendors, and games located at 99 Frances Ward Drive. Stick around as the sun goes down for the Annual Locust Grove Day street dance!

2nd Annual Catfish Rodeo

Bring your own bait and tackle to enjoy a day of fishing at this FREE fishing event for kids ages 5-15. Fishing will take place from 8:00 AM- 12:00 PM followed by a cookout lunch courtesy of the Southside Sportsman Association. Participants must pre-register and all children must be supervised by an adult throughout the duration of the event. Hurry, spaces are very limited!

Locust Grove Farmer’s Market
June 3- August 26

Stock up on veggies for the week at Downtown’s Train Viewing Platform every Saturday morning from 8:00 AM until 12 noon-rain or shine. The Market will begin on Saturday, June 3rd and run through Saturday, August 26th. The Locust Grove Farmer’s Market features fresh tomatoes, beans, squash, and more, all grown by farmers right here in the Henry County area. Many weekends, shoppers visiting the Train Platform can also find vendors and farmers with other agricultural products such as handmade goat’s milk soap, jams, jellies, baked goods, and honey. The Market’s location in the Train Viewing Platform features easy access to parking, handicap accessibility, and access to public restrooms, not to mention an exciting up-close view of passing trains!

Locust Grove City Hall (3644 Hwy 42) Bring your little ghouls and goblins for a safe night of trunk or treat at Locust Grove City Hall. Prizes will be awarded for the best decorated trunks. Afterthe sun goes down, get ready for things to get a little scary on the haunted hayride through the cemetery!
